Why We Chose ‘Calm Cup’ (And Why Therapy Doesn’t Have to Feel Like a Clinic)

Hi, I’m Jessica Bolin Edwards.

If you’re reading this, you might be looking for help. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, carrying the weight of trauma, or just navigating one of those life transitions that leaves you wondering where to go next.

I know that walking into a therapist’s office can feel intimidating. For a long time, I felt that same hesitation. I worried about being judged, labeled, or treated like just another case number in a cold clinic.

That’s exactly why I opened Calm Cup.

My intention was simple: to create a space that feels less like a medical appointment and more like a warm cup of tea with someone who genuinely cares.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. You are not a diagnosis. You are a person with your own unique story, and your care should be shaped around that story, not a textbook.

Whether we are working through past wounds or finding calm in present chaos, my goal is to walk alongside you. Not behind you, not ahead of you—right here with you.

If you’ve been carrying this weight alone for too long, you don’t have to do it anymore.

I’d love to hear your story.

Warmly,
Jessica
